Mitch Sabbagh Chained Echoes’ soundtrack succeeds in sucking players into the game’s world thanks to its vivid blend of rousing tracks and ambient tunes. The OST helped make every individual location and story event sound unique and epic, which only made me want to explore more of the virtual space. Favorite track: The Weight of Destiny.

Ian Martyn Undoubtedly one of the best game soundtracks of the 21st century. I love that Marianukroh has simultaneously evoked the feeling of the best 16-bit RPGs while creating something totally unique and originally that you can't get in any other soundtrack. I can't stop listening to this, seriously! Favorite track: Crimson Wings Spreading Through the Blue Sky.

nonrandom Amazing AMAZING game and OST that needs way more recognition. Much like the game itself it feels like a perfect blend of tribute to and update of classic games like Chrono Trigger or SNES-era Final Fantasy Favorite track: Those Who Resist Destiny.

about

The Chained Echoes (Original Game Soundtrack) is my humble contribution to the vast sea of video game music inspired by the classics that we've all grown up with and still revere. Spanning 50 tracks that I spent four years crafting, this project truly was a labor of love, and in the words of Maurice Ravel, "I did my work slowly, drop by drop. I tore it out of me by pieces."

First and foremost, I want to thank Matthias for allowing me the opportunity to score this incredible game that he had spent so long creating. The amount of unwavering trust and absolute freedom he gave me to contribute my own musical vision to his masterfully written story is an artistic experience I will never forget. I have cherished every moment working with him on this project, and it truly is bittersweet to see it all come to an end.

I also want to thank all the Kickstarter backers that helped bring this game to life. Without them, its accompanying soundtrack would not be here today.

Of course, I want to thank all the amazing musicians who contributed their skills and brought forth some wonderful performances to the soundtrack, elevating the music to a place that I alone could never have dreamed to have accomplished.

I want to thank my wife, who is the light of my life, as well as my family and friends, who have continuously supported me in my musical journey. Without them, I would truly be lost.

And lastly, I would like to especially thank my late grandmother, who left my family and me in May of 2020. She is an inspiration to my music, and there is not a day that I have not thought of her. I miss her incredibly so and wish her the most serene peace in the afterlife.

Thank you all for listening to the music. I very much hope you enjoy it.

- Eddie
